Be who you were SAVED to Be!❤️

Respect is something that absolutely must be earned. It’s earned over time, and this is yet another piece of the puzzle too, because respect is a huge part of the Christian’s process too in growing further in maturity in CHRIST. I realize that when I’ve said or done something that I know that I shouldn’t have, I begin to feel my heart ache for it, because I also know that I can’t take back what I’ve said/done. People are people though and nobody is without this flaw. We all have said and done things too to each other that we shouldn’t have. If we’re modeling JESUS though, are we truly forgiving others for their mishaps? I am so thankful that JESUS never gives up on me, even when I fail the tests. Face it we are all in a continuous test here, and it’s daily too. JESUS gives us second, third, fourth, and so on and so on of endless chances. He doesn’t say okay it’s three strikes you’re out, instead JESUS says, it’s okay, you failed today, but here’s the right way to do this. HE shows us THE RIGHT WAY to do it. HE does it with so much love and NO CONDEMNATION, EVER!

Each day that we wake up, we are faced with a brand new day. We can look at it as having a blank canvas. Everyone’s canvas is different, and we can determine what we will be adding on it. Will we allow darkness to override our light and take away our bright colors? We will allow our JOY to be taken away, joy that was given freely to us from the LORD? Will we take the joy of others away?

We are who we are by how CHRIST JESUS sees us. We in CHRIST are the walking and talking billboards for HIM, and our actions really do speak louder than our words do!
People are watching us in how we respond to adversity. Better than that GOD is watching us. We all have trials here to go through too. It’s just part of life, but it doesn’t mean that we have to just settle there though. I am so very thankful that JESUS never ever gives up on me! I fail miserably sometimes too, and HE just picks me right back up, and HE helps me with his correction and conviction. HE shows me with the most perfect love how to do it again and the right way. JESUS will never ever give up on you either!!!

It’s so easy to allow our emotions to cloud our better judgment sometimes. There are times that we might be right with how we feel, but then there are those times where we aren’t though. We have to be very careful with what we say, and how we respond too, and to people that aren’t quite there yet too within their own walk, because face it, we all are on a different walk with the LORD!! BTW, I am absolutely in the learning stages still of this too.
I am so grateful though to have the opportunity to be able to still be here with the ability to learn, and to have second chances too, over and over again. We are all learning here still and as long as we live, we will continue to learn too. I try to take as much as I can from people I look up to. A wise man once said to me “remain teachable.”  He didn’t even realize that what he spoke was directly for me, but It is for every single person though that calls him/herself a Christian! A Christian’s life is a daily walk. It’s a daily process. If we can remain teachable though, depending on JESUS, always for HIS insight and guidance, we will grow together and we will absolutely become WHO WE WERE SAVED TO BE.

Keep your servant also from willful sins; may they not rule over me.
Then I will be blameless,
innocent of great transgression.
