GIVE GOD our all, because HE gave HIS all!

Humble Service in the Body of Christ:
For by the grace given me I say to every one of you: Do not think of yourself more highly than you ought, but rather think of yourself with sober judgment, in accordance “with the faith GOD has distributed to each of you.” For just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members do not all have the same function, so in CHRIST we, though many, form one body, and each member belongs to all the others. We have different gifts, according to the grace given to each of us. If your gift is prophesying, then prophesy in accordance with your faith; if it is serving, then serve; if it is teaching, then teach; if it is to encourage, then give encouragement; if it is giving, then give generously; if it is to lead, do it diligently; if it is to show mercy, do it cheerfully.—Romans 12:3-8

Do not repay anyone evil for evil. Be careful to do what is right in the eyes of everyone. If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone. Do not take revenge, my dear friends, but leave room for God’s wrath, for it is written: “IT IS MINE TO AVENGE, I WILL REPAY,”  says the LORD.—Romans 12:17-19

So in everything, do to others “WHAT YOU WOULD HAVE THEM DO TO YOU,” for this sums up the Law and the Prophets.—Matthew 7:12

Praying to GOD gives us not only a real peace, but praying also gives us a refreshed spirit. I love how GOD’S word is written in black and white and I love the red writing in my bible which is red to show us everything that JESUS said. Black and white is pretty cut and dry, it’s either it’s this way or it’s that way, so there’s no in between. JESUS’S life is our perfect example for how we should live. When I see the red writing in my bible, I can’t help but to associate it with the blood that HE shed. The red writing of everything that JESUS said serves as a constant reminder of the sacrifice that HE made. JESUS gave us HIS all, and HE gave nothing less. HE never promised us a life of ease here. In fact, HE told us long ago that we’d have troubles here, but HE also told us to take heart, meaning to just trust HIM, because HE HAS ALREADY OVERCOME THE WORLD.—John 16:33. So what that verse really means is, that there is NOTHING too big for JESUS to handle! We all have trials here that we’re facing and most of it is really just junk when we really think about it. Many of us though are going through some for real serious trials. We feel like we’re going through the fire right now in them too, and that fire doesn’t feel too good, but remember this, may we be reminded,  JESUS also promised to be with us, always, even to the very end. AND HE IS!!!

Just like the black and white writing of the Bible, it’s cut and dry too for us. Either we are trusting JESUS to handle all of our lives, or we’re not. We’re either giving HIM our all or we’re not. Every single time that I do something on my own without consulting GOD’S wise counsel, it’s on me. It hurts GOD when we don’t trust HIM. JESUS not only died so that we would no longer be guilty of our sins against GOD, but HIS death was also to SEND HIS HOLY SPIRIT to help us. HIS HOLY SPIRIT is our helper! Therefore everything that we face here, if it is being addressed to GOD properly, it can be handled, as it comes up and the right way too. So many people are turning to the wrong things for help. This is not the way it’s meant to be, and it’s not how GOD visioned us living abundantly either.

I love how JESUS uses parables to convey HIS message that even such a time that we live in today, and it is still very much applicable to our lives, especially today, like no other time. Trust GOD. Read HIS WORD. Take HIS word to heart and at face value for what HIS WORD SAYS. Allow HIS HOLY SPIRIT to do the rest. Give GOD the fair chance that HE deserves. After all, HE did it for you. May we give GOD our all, because HE gave HIS already.
